              Uttarkashi Zila Sahkari Bank Ltd was  registered  under Uttar Pardesh Cooperative Societies Act, 1965 vide  registration no. 119  dated 28-02-1967. Sh Gangaram was appointed as  first Chairman of the bank on 04-10-1968. The Bank has  glorious history of  52 years of successful banking services.Bank has its Registered & Admin Office Located at Mall Road, City Uttarkashi, Uttrakhand,.

                The Bank has network of 17 branches located in the District covering the rural population and facilitates best banking services to our esteemed customers. All our branches are working on Core Banking solutions. Bank continuously putting effort to bring new technological advances to its customers.

               Currently constitute the elected board of the Bank through the bank representatives elected by the public representatives of various societies of district. The Bank has 13 members in the elected board. The elected board includes 11 elected representatives, One representative nominated by the Government and one representative is Assistant District Registrar on the behalf of Registrar of Uttarakhand Co-operative societies.

The bank has obtained licence from RBI. Licence No. RPCD 04/2012 dated Feb 16, 2012.(Ref Licence No ASD UP 6-C DATED 30-08-1968)
